Silverwest has a proven history of identifying markets and locations with maximum potential to realize return from new builds, conversions, adaptive reuse, and mixed-use opportunities. Beginning with hotel or land acquisition, entitlements, branding, and design, the Silverwest team specializes in tailor-fit investment strategies to create one-of-a-kind business plans. From concepting to execution, Silverwest’s focus on construction and renovations, and optimizing operations has created greater return and enhanced long-term value for the projects and their investors.
Silverwest has partnered with a diverse base of institutional investors including publicly traded balance sheet investors, private equity, fund managers, HNW family offices and individual investor accounts establishing Silverwest Hotel Fund I. Silverwest raised Hotel Fund I and, coupled with its LP co-investors who have invested alongside the Fund, and/or directly with Silverwest General Partner entities as LP’s, deployed $100M in equity for a hotel dedicated investment vehicle. This opportunistic, value-add fund developed and repositioned 10 projects in Western US markets. Since 2019, selected individual investments in the Fund have been successfully sold, despite the impact of COVID-19 on the travel and tourism industry.
In 2022, Silverwest formed Silverwest Hawaii Holdings LLC, a JV with institutional LP investors for an investment in two Hawaii based hotel projects, the Waikoloa Beach Marriot Resort & Spa and a hotel development project in Hokuala, Lihue, Hawaii.
Silverwest specializes in identifying high growth markets for hotel development where the leading hotel brands may be unrepresented or underrepresented, particularly with newer, more contemporary sub-brands. Since inception, Silverwest successfully built and opened three hotels and is currently in development on two additional projects.
