Patrick Mace joined Silverwest in 2014 as Managing Director, Acquisition & Development. Patrick is responsible for the company’s deal sourcing, underwriting, transactions, negotiations and project development.

Prior to Silverwest, Patrick was a principal of Sabbia Advisors. Working in an advisory capacity, his consulting engagements included transaction due diligence, development feasibility, asset management and operational planning of an international mixed-use resort. Learn more…

Sherif Guirguis
Sherif GuirguisManaging Director, Hotel Operations
Sherif Guirguis joined Silverwest in 2016 as Managing Director of Hotel Operations overseeing all of Silverwest’s select service hotels. Sherif has more than three decades of operations and leadership experience in full and select service hotels.

Prior to joining Silverwest, Sherif served as Senior Vice President of Regional Operations at White Lodging Services, the second largest third party hotel management company in the United States.
In his roles as Senior Vice President and Regional Vice President, he oversaw five regions with 40 properties. Learn more…

David Thorpe joined Silverwest in 2016. Dave is responsible for overseeing Silverwest’s new developments and renovation projects at the company’s various hotel properties.

Prior to joining Silverwest, Dave most recently served as vice president of Shaw Construction in Denver. Evan Welsh joined Silverwest in 2015 as a Director of Acquisition & Development. In this capacity, Evan is involved in the company’s deal sourcing, underwriting, transactions, negotiations and project development.

Norman Roca
Norman RocaDirector of Operations
Norman Roca joined Silverwest in 2015 as Director of Operations. His primary role focuses on overall operating performance and brand compliance of Silverwest’s select service hotels. This includes responsibility for compliance with brand standards and procedures, optimization within each brand’s sales & marketing system, conducting physical audits, monitoring guest satisfaction, and instituting training and development programs to build bench strength within the company and our hotel properties.

Norman comes with extensive experience with multiple brands in multiple markets, with a history of leading the opening and physical reflagging of properties. Prior to joining Silverwest, Norman was General Manager of a portfolio of select service properties in Casper, WY. He has also worked at the Hilton Corporate office in Memphis TN as one of the Hampton Inn Regional Brand Performance Managers. Norman received a Bachelor of Science from the University of California Berkley.

Nayla Valentin Evans
Nayla Valentin Evans Corporate Operations Coordinator
Nayla Evans joined Silverwest in June of 2017. In her role of Corporate Operations Coordinator, Nayla provides support to Managing Directors and Silverwest hotel teams in Accounting, Human Resources and Hotel Operations.

Originally from Venezuela, Nayla is fluent in Spanish and is a recent Metro State University of Denver Finance graduate with more than 4 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Silverwest, Nayla served as an Accounting/HR Assistant at High Velocity Hospitality, LLC.

Lucy Sapron
Lucy SapronOffice Manager
Lucy Sapron joined Silverwest in April of 2015 and serves as Office Manager for the company and its affiliates. Her role encompasses administrative and organizational support, client and vendor communication and brand and lender documentation and compliance.

Lucy’s prior experience includes 15 years of various positions in the banking industry with the last 11 years serving as Assistant Vice President of Commercial/Construction Loan Administration. As a Commercial Loan Administrator, Lucy had the opportunity to learn many aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Lucy is native of Estonia, where she attended Tallinn Technical University and completed coursework in Data Processing in Economics.

Paul Mountain

Paul Mountain joined Silverwest in April 2015 as an MBA intern, and as of May 2016 he is a full-time Associate. He is involved with Silverwest’s acquisitions, developments, and asset management, and his responsibilities span the investment cycle from initial underwriting through disposition.

Prior to Silverwest, Paul worked with Copper Mountain Resort as a Financial Analyst. His primary responsibilities included capital project management, budgeting, and financial reporting. Paul received his MBA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder and his BS in Finance from the University of Tennessee.
